SLC Temple with Rainbow

Let these pages inspire you a little, relax your mind and then rise to greater heights.

God lives. He is our heavenly Father and loves us all.

By reading the scriptures such as the Bible and the Book of Mormon, we can gain knowledge of God and His Son, Jesus Christ.

Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ

Latter-day Saints believe that God is the heavenly Father of all His spirit children, that is, all of humanity.

We also believe that we are related to him through certain ordinances in his Church of Jesus Christ, as:

  • baptism by immersion,
  • the gift of the Holy Spirit through the laying on of hands,
  • taking the Lord's Supper and all other ordinances,
can return. God is truly our Creator. He loves us and wants us to return to him.

Jesus Christ

Jesus Christ is the firstborn of our heavenly father. He is our Lord and savior.

He was the only man on earth who never sinned. Through his atonement we all can go back to God again, if we follow his example.

He is the King of the kings and soon he will come back to earth in glory and will reign

Joseph Smith

He saw God and Jesus Christ in a forest in 1820 after he asked in prayer which church he should join. The answer he received surprised him because he was commanded not to join any of the existing churches.
He later translated the Book of Mormon from gold plates that the angel Moroni showed him in a vision in 1823 where they could be found, and later had the scriptures "Doctrine and Covenants" and "The Pearl of Great Price" revealed to him.
Later, exactly on April 6, 1830, he received the commandment from Jesus Christ to restore His Church on the earth and give it his name, viz:

Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (D&C 20)..

Any person with a sincere desire to believe can, like Joseph Smith, be assured that the Book of Mormon is true, that is, the Word of God (Moroni 10:3-5).

Revelation is the essential principle for a living church.

It is intended to be able to receive revelation from God for the area for which we are appointed by him, e.g. for our own family.

Through revelation, for example, the Book of Mormon and other important truths were communicated to Joseph Smith by God

When conducting family and genealogy research, we collect the names and dates of our ancestors.
The Church of Jesus Christ has the world's largest genealogy data archive.
There are so-called family research centers in almost all communities. Members and non-members can conduct family research there for themselves and their ancestors.
This research is even possible via the Internet. Well over 1,000,000,000 names have already been entered. Simply click on “Family Search” under “Links” to get an overview.

Eternal Marriage

Marriage between a man and a woman is an eternal institution of God.

We believe that she - just like the entire family - can continue to exist even after death. To do this, it must be carried out with the authority of God in one of his temples.

My Testimony

  • Latter-day Saints, LDS, Church, Jesus, Christ, Mormon, Faith, God, Testimony, Truth -
  • To be happy. That's what these pages are about. Take this as my personal testimony: God is alive and waiting for you to speak to him if you wish and want to know if this is true. If you desire to have faith (Alma 32:32), this is enough to try and pray.
